As well as my degree in teaching, I also have a bachelor's degree in Graphic and Media Design. I have taught in mainstream and special needs schools in London, as well as in international schools all over the world, including in Myanmar, Thailand, Montenegro and Spain. Although I've worked with a huge variety of learners, my lessons always include a strong visual element, games and activities, and opportunities for students be creative. This is because I have found that people (adults and children) learn most when they are having fun. I think it is important to get to know my students, as being able to tailor my lessons to the individual is also an important aspect of effective teaching.
