I am a registered mental health nurse and independent prescriber. I have been registered as a nurse for 24 years and worked across all ages with nearly half my time in CAMHS. I have recently worked in clinical education as a learning environment lead for 4 years, with supporting students and student placements being the core part of my role. I have been mentoring and supervising students for a long time, and supported students and junior staff from when I first qualified. I'm passionate about nursing and supporting health students generally, and supporting staff with professional and career development. I have worked in crossover clinical areas with physical health colleagues and I have an interest in physical health as well as mental health and working in neurodevelopmental services. I have a lot of leadership experience and training so happy to support around these areas too. I currently work as an ADHD diagnostic assessor for under 18's.

I have a nursing diploma, post graduate diploma in mental health, mentorship (education module) at level 7 and prescribing at level 6. I have also done practice supervisor and assessor training and used to run the update and sign off training sessions for this. I have run training for staff and students in 1:1 and group sessions for a lot of years in various clinical areas.
