Advert description
Hello! My name is Montserrat, and I am a native Spanish teacher from Spain currently based in the UK. I have over 10 years of teaching experience working with both teenagers and adults, including supporting students preparing for Spanish GCSE exams in secondary schools.
I hold a DBS check as well as ELE and CELTA qualifications, which have helped me build a strong, structured, and student-centred approach to teaching. Throughout my career, I have worked with learners of different ages, levels, and objectives, so I understand the importance of adapting each lesson to the individual student. I also have experience supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
My classes are personalised to suit your pace, goals, and learning style. Whether you want to improve your speaking, listening, reading, or writing, I design lessons that are clear, engaging, and effective. I teach teenagers who need support with school Spanish and exam preparation, as well as adults learning for work, travel, or personal interest.
My aim is to help students develop confidence and start using Spanish from the first lesson. I believe language learning should be practical, supportive, and motivating. For this reason, I create lessons that are well organised and adapted to each learner’s needs.
Outside teaching, I write bilingual poetry and have published four books. This creative side brings an extra dimension to my teaching and helps me make language learning more meaningful and memorable.
