Native maths tutor with top-level A-level grades and experience working with children

I like to let the student have a go at different levels of questions initially so that I can gauge the level that they are working at. At the same time, I would ask the student to talk me through their logic and how they work through questions. I would then take all this together and formulate a learning plan for the student, teaching them ways that they can go through questions faster, but also, of course, correctly. I went through this process myself in preparation for my GCSEs and A-levels in mathematics, which have always been top level. Furthermore, I have experience working with children, as I coached over 20 players at a time in a junior football team as the head coach.
