Native Mandarin speaker offering engaging Chinese lessons for children, teens, and adults

I teach Mandarin Chinese to students of all ages, from complete beginners to those studying Chinese as a second language at school or university. I can support learners with homework, quiz revision, presentations, and structured lessons based on textbooks or tailored modules, including Chinese linguistics, literature, culture, and society. For students without prior exposure, I can design lessons from scratch to build a strong foundation in the language.
My lessons are interactive and visually engaging, often supported with PowerPoint slides, images, and cultural background knowledge, so students learn not just through text but through context and experience. I adapt my approach to different age groups: with children, I focus on being encouraging and engaging without pressure; with adults, I use real-life examples and practical applications for work or daily life.
Every class is bilingual (Chinese and English), ensuring clarity and confidence. As both a knowledge lover and lifelong learner, I see tutoring as a two-way exchange: I help my students grow, while also learning from them and building genuine connections. I also enjoy sharing my passion for Chinese calligraphy and art, offering extracurricular insights into traditional culture to make the learning journey both fun and meaningful.
