I previously tutored middle school kids in math. I adapted to their needs, and together we reached their goals. To teach Italian, I would definitely start by asking how they prefer to learn, whether they prefer an interactive teaching, so, for example, if they learn better by answering questions and challenging themselves, or if they would prefer to have more theoretical lessons, where I will explain the grammar and rules to them, and then they apply it later by doing some exercises. In our lesson, I would also include conversation practice so they can improve their pronunciation and become more fluent and confident when speaking Italian.
