I love the challenge of education and connecting with students in ways so that they can access information. I believe that teaching is more about communicating in ways that a student can understand than forced learning by rote. As someone who has also dealt with the challenges of being neurodiverse in institutional learning environments, I have particular interest in ensuring that lessons are tailor made to an individuals learning style. I have found that the best learning outcomes for all learners are found when the tutor is able to communicate effectively in a student's 'own language'; building trust understanding and confidence.
