As an English & Linguistics student with a Cambridge C2 Proficiency certification and two years of hands-on experience as a language substitute teacher, I bring a deep understanding of language acquisition into my tutoring. Speaking six languages myself, I understand firsthand the challenges students face when building conversational confidence and mastering grammar. My teaching is interactive, adaptive, and patient. I prefer communication and dialogue, breaking down complex concepts into accessible ideas. At my previous job as a substitute teacher, I worked a lot with recently immigrated children with little knowledge of English and Finnish and had to get creative to be understood and teach efficiently. Whether students want to improve conversational skills or prepare for exams, I customize every session to fit the learning pace and style of every student.
