Maths Tutor for A-Level and GCSEs students

My tutoring approach is centred around building understanding and confidence rather than simply helping students memorise answers. I aim to break complex topics down into smaller, manageable steps and encourage students to explain their thinking, allowing me to identify any misconceptions and address them effectively.

I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to their individual needs. For some students this may involve working through examples together, while for others it may involve asking questions that encourage independent problem-solving. I also place a strong emphasis on developing good study habits, exam technique, and logical thinking so that students become more confident learners over time.

When supporting students, I aim to create a positive and encouraging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping students make steady progress towards their academic goals while developing a genuine understanding of the subject.
