Maths & Science Tutor for GCSE and A-levels

Russell is a PHD graduate in materials and chemistry. He has a deep passion for science, and his goal is to always to instil enthusiasm in his students. With 7 years of experience in science communication, he has worked as an interactive science museum explainer, a science animator, and a university lab demonstrator. Russell has also been a private tutor for the past 4 years, preparing students for GCSE exams in chemistry, biology, physics, and maths, as well as chemistry at A-level. Russell’s teaching style is inquiry-based, creating interactive lessons where he collaboratively explores subjects with his students, resulting in an engaging and meaningful learning experience. Outside of teaching, Russell is an avid chess player and amateur boulderer. He also volunteers with Olio, working to help lower food waste in London.
