Advert description
Struggling to untangle R output, complex regressions, or the difference between a shift and a movement in supply and demand? I specialize in making undergraduate Microeconomics and Econometrics accessible, practical, and easy to grasp. My teaching philosophy is simple: the focus is understanding first, formulas second.
What I Teach:
Microeconomics: We will cover scarcity, opportunity cost, comparative advantage, supply and demand, elasticity, consumer/producer surplus, externalities, and production costs.
Econometrics: We will master simple and multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing (p-values and standard errors), dummy variables, Instrumental Variables (IV/2SLS), Propensity Score Matching (PSM), Regression Discontinuity Design (RDD), and Difference-in-Differences (DiD).
R Programming for Economics: We will focus on translating econometric notation into R output and learning which numbers matter so you can interpret them confidently for exam-style questions.
What Our Lessons Are Like:
Intuition-First Approach: We break down intimidating graphs and translate heavy formulas into plain English and simple real-world examples before touching the math.
Step-by-Step Problem Solving: We work through your specific professor's original materials, lecture slides, and problem sets to ensure our sessions stay closely connected to your actual course and directly translate to exam success.
Customized Study Hubs: I organize a dedicated online workspace for our lesson recaps, practice homework, and cheat sheets, such as regression-output checklists or elasticity formula sheets, so you never feel lost.
Diagnostic Practice: I use targeted mini exercises and have you practice explaining the answers in your own words, just like you will need to do on the exam.
