A Level and GCSE Chemistry tutoring from a Qualified and Experienced UK Teacher | Cambridge and Bristol Graduate

I am excited to offer my services to tutor GCSE and A Level Chemistry. I specialise in the AQA GCSE and Edexcel IGCSE courses (offering support for both Triple and Combined Science routes), and AQA and OCR A courses at A Level.

I am a qualified teacher based in the UK with 6 years of experience having gained a PGCE from the University of Cambridge in 2020. I read Chemistry at the University of Bristol and gained a Master of Education degree from the University of Cambridge in 2023. Since qualifying I have worked at leading UK independent schools including currently teaching at a top-20 school.

I pride myself on delivering intellectually challenging lessons where my pupils learn to understand and comprehend content, thus taking the pressure away from rote learning and lessening the subsequent exam stress. I have excellent subject knowledge with established understanding of the finer details in mark schemes that have allowed my pupils to consistently achieve the highest grades. Most of the grades achieved by my pupils have been at an A*/A and 8/9 level, showing my track record of guiding pupils to their goals.

Pupils can expect high quality lesson notes mostly written live as a record of the delivered content, all via OneNote so that everything is accessible in one place. I also use this platform to upload all other lesson resources meaning that while not essential, pupils are encouraged to have the ability to write on a device with a stylus to make full use of this. Expect a mixture of bespoke and exam-preparation specific resources alongside theoretical study of required practicals and PAGs.

The first 30 minute session is free, which will feature a diagnostic section to allow me to identify each individual’s needs and subsequently tailor my delivery to them.
