O Level English Teacher / Primary English Teacher

Please accept my hearty prayers for your health. I am getting in touch with you in regards to the position of English teacher lying vacant in your honorable lyceum. Factually speaking, I am applying for this position owing to my fondness of English language. As a matter of fact, I have been smitten by its corpus, nuances and vernacular. In order to learn this language I had to skittle away like a Mickey Mouse from one kerb to another. Whatever are the challenges in this lingo, I am up to them and always on the ball especially when going gets tough. I am sanguine that my unshakable and unflinching approach will take me to distance and the lotus feet of English will be the home of my mind.

When I render my services as a spoken English teacher, I always accentuate on correct pronunciation of words. I make my pupils utter words with accurate pronunciation. Likewise, I want them to follow stress and intonation while speaking.

In my writing class, I cause my students to brainstorm on current topics like nepotism, adulteration, technological advancements, upbringing of children of working women, comparison of old age and modern age paintings. When they submit their write ups, then I check those essays for sentence structure, grammar accuracy and upgrade the existing plain theme with idiomatic one. In the nut shell, I always encourage the use of similes’, phrasal verbs and idioms among my tutees’.

I am envisioning a mixed bag of performances in all of English formats viz Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. Even though I am not a post graduate in English but I am hopeful of adding dimensions to my English teaching career. I am cognizant with all aspects of responsibilities associated with this position. If you could give me a chance to show my talents and capabilities, I will leave no stone unturned to satisfy my superiors owing to the fact that I had taught multifariously English Literature and Language since 2005.
