A law tutor providing lessons for students of all levels

I have a Bachelor's degree in Law and I am starting a Master's soon. I provide lessons for substantive legal courses as well as for courses concerning legal philosophy and research methods. I specialise in comparative law in EU andUK and have a good knowledge of international law as well.

Every class has a preplanned structure but there is always room to adjust according to the needs of the student. My plan is to start with a brief revision of the content learned in the previous class and have room for any questions that the student may have. Next, I focus on the content of the present class. I employ an interactive style where the student participates in the learning process by not just passively listening but instead by teaching the content back to me, summarising the taught content or by answering interim questions to make sure that the student is following and understanding the content. I also like to employ other interactive methods depending on the topic. Lastly, I like to give students problems to help them apply the content in practice and to consolidate their learning.

Closer to the exam, I like to help students to revise effectively, with the use of practice exams and other revision material. When it comes to other assignments such as essays, I am willing to help students with the assignments by going through the prompt, brainstorming with them, and by giving tips for academic writing. I am also always available to answer any question outside the class hours.
