My lessons are for university and college students who want to write clearer, better-argued essays and coursework, especially in law and the humanities. I start by looking at a piece of your own work to see where you’re getting stuck - structure, argument, evidence, or simply getting started. Then we work on it together. I explain each idea briefly, show how it works on a real paragraph, and ask questions that help you find the fix yourself, so you learn to improve your writing rather than just having it corrected. Each session ends with one small, clear task to try before we meet again. I’m patient, honest about what’s working and what isn’t, and happy to adapt to your course, deadlines and pace.
