Advert description
I am a second year Psychology student at King's College London with a 98% ISC score and a 5 in AP Psychology. I’m passionate about Psychology and especially enjoy helping students not only improve academically but also understand how fascinating and applicable the subject can be.
I have experience mentoring younger students across subjects including French, Chemistry and English, as well as mentoring students in debate and public speaking. As Head of my school’s Debate and MUN Council, I supported students in developing their communication, critical-thinking and presentation skills. I also founded a Psychological First Aid Club, where I trained high school students in peer support, and as a Safety Ambassador, I delivered workshops and presentations to primary and secondary school students. These experiences have taught me how to explain ideas clearly, adapt my communication to different learners and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
My lessons are personalised and interactive. Rather than relying on memorisation alone, I focus on helping students genuinely understand psychological concepts, theories and research. I use clear explanations, real-world examples, discussion, active recall, practice questions and exam technique to make learning both effective and engaging.
I can support students with understanding difficult topics, applying theories and studies, developing essay structure, improving exam technique and preparing for assessments.
I also have experience with psychology research, academic writing, statistics and research methods, which complements my university studies and allows me to bring a deeper understanding of Psychology into my lessons.
Whether you are studying ISC, GCSE or A-Level Psychology, preparing for exams, looking to improve your grades, or simply interested in exploring Psychology further, I will tailor lessons to your individual goals and learning style. My aim is for every student to leave a lesson feeling more confident, capable and interested in Psychology.
