I passed the old JLPT Level 2 before moving to Japan from Hong Kong, but at that time, I still struggled to understand what people were saying and get my words out.
I spent 16 years living in Japan. Studying, working, travelling, falling in love, marrying a Japanese man, and experiencing all the little things that come with everyday life there, even my dreams are in Japanese. 😂
