Italian tutor for children and adults of all ages

Hello! My name is Sara and I am a native Italian tutor.
I have experience with children and teenagers having worked in summer camps in my country. My job was to teach languages through play and engaging activities.
In the past years I gained experience working also with adults and I studied to get a Tefl certificate, which helped me giving more structure to my lessons.
When I start with a new student we first have a chat to determine their goals and experience with the language. In this way I can have a more clear idea on how to prepare the lessons. One thing that I consider very important is to help the student approaching the language with the use of real texts and conversations. Indeed my approach aims to get confidence with the day to day language.
In our lessons we build together on the four core language skills doing a lot of practice.
One of the things I love the most is to give my students the good tips that actually helped me stepping up and strengthen my use of English day by day. I strongly believe that learning from an other learner is a plus in this sense as it is also a mental exercise and the skills we build can be reused when learning a second or a third language.
