Obtained a Mathematics degree at King's College London.
How will I be tutoring you?
I believe that there isn't a specific structure when teaching students, as some may grasp onto the knowledge and the technique much quicker than others.
Being a student in my younger years, and having a tutor, I know how important it is to tailor your teaching methods according to the student's needs. One may find a technique that most individuals use harder than others, and the aim is to make sure that they understand it no matter the hurdle. Mathematics is a subject that can be disliked especially when you don't understand the concept, and as a tutor I want to make sure that all the students adore mathematics, and I want the students to influence others in enjoying the subject.
An example of teaching for a particular student would be starting off communicating and understanding their knowledge of that specific topic, and from there on assessing where the starting point should be. I also believe that asking questions to students in the middle of the lesson helps them remember what was taught, and asking them to explain what I had taught them makes me 100% certain that they will be understanding the homework or the lesson that I have taught at that moment.
I am more than happy to arrange a chat/call about any trial lessons for free online.
