My name is Aarya and I'm a 19 year old student who isn't just passionate about Maths and Physics, but about teaching them too. During my own school days, I was often left confused in lessons because teachers would make huge leaps without clearly explaining the concept behind them. They'd forget it was our first time seeing it, make assumptions about what we already knew, and I'd end up having to self-teach large parts at home. That's why I care so much about actually building understanding from the ground up, rather than rushing through content.

Outside of academics, I play badminton and used to compete at a national level. I've also played piano and flute in jazz bands and orchestras. Between the two, they've taught me a lot about discipline and putting in consistent work over time, and it's something I bring into how I teach.

One of the main things I want to emphasise during my lessons is not moving on until it actually makes sense, even if that means going over something a couple of times. Lessons can be patient and slow during difficult concepts, and fast-paced when you're picking things up more easily. I strongly believe in adapting to each student's individual needs.
