A History Tutor | KS3 & GCSE | Helping students become passionate historians

I have recently completed my A-levels, achieving A* in History and A in English Literature, and I achieved the highest History mark in my cohort. At GCSE, I achieved an 8 in History and 8s in both English Language and Literature. I was also fortunate to receive an offer to study History at the University of Cambridge.

While I am new to formal tutoring, I believe my recent experience as a student is one of my greatest strengths. I have a very clear understanding of the demands of GCSE and A-level study, the challenges students can face, and the difference that genuinely engaging teaching can make. I want to help students understand and enjoy their subject, building the confidence and analytical skills needed to achieve their best results.

I am particularly passionate about History and believe that it is at its most rewarding when students are encouraged to question, debate and engage with the past rather than simply memorise it. I would bring enthusiasm, patience and strong communication skills to tutoring, while tailoring lessons to each student's individual needs and learning style.

I see my recent experience of the education system not as a limitation, but as an opportunity to offer students an approachable tutor who understands exactly what they are working towards.
I am also willing to offer support with English literature or language, aswell with university personal statements having recieved 5/5 offers from Russel group universitys.
