With over 25 years of teaching experience. I am a fully qualified teacher of languages (French, Spanish and English as a Foreign Language). My qualifications include: PGCE with QTS, Masters degree in Education, NPQLT (National Professional Qualification in Leading Teaching) and I am a professionally qualified translator (Diptrans IoL, French to English). I have taught in classrooms in both the UK and international schools in France and Mexico. I also give private lessons both online and face-to-face, individual or group. I will tailor lessons to your level and your objectives so that you can achieve your goals. I have extensive experience teaching languages to teenagers and adults for business and for pleasure. I have a deep understanding of requirements in languages exams: GCSE, IGCSE, A level and IB (French B) and I can help you to succeed in these exams while developing a skill for life. I have honed my own teaching style and methods which focus on your skills of communication and help you to actually speak the language with confidence. My lessons are fully interactive, encouraging you to practise speaking from the very start. You will develop your language skills while improving your cultural knowledge as I can share a wealth of resources for you to explore. I can make grammar accessible with a variety of memorisation techniques and tips to help you succeed.
