You have a project that you've just started or have done some work on already, and you need some help. Perhaps you're stuck, lacking ideas, or you're not happy with the direct in which it's going.
– General assessment
You need some help with your overall approach to design and creativity. Perhaps you have doubts about the direction in which your work is going, or you lack personal connection/motivation with the subject.
In the first session together we'll get clear on what your goals and deadlines are. Then we'll make a plan for meeting both these targets. It's rare to achieve these targets in one session, but we can make considerable progress.
I'll give you some key tools and approaches for reaching your goals on the project or your overall creative direction. We set tasks with clear deadlines so that our time is used as effectively as possible.
Depending on the complexity of the issues we're working on, an average of 3 to 5 sessions for a project and 5 to 10 for a general assessment is common.
I work with students and professionals online (ideally using Zoom and other platforms like Miro). And in-person in a central London workspace. I find this more effective than teaching in students homes, but I can do that if accessibility is an issue. My teaching and mentoring style is informal and friendly. And if we can have a laugh, so much the better.
