Head of Religious Studies for 25 years, successfully preparing students for GCSE, A-level, 13+ exams

Head of Religious Studies in independent schools for over twenty years, successfully preparing students for GCSE, A-level and 13+ Religion, Theology and Philosophy examinations.

At GCSE level I have taught and tutored all the main exam specifications: AQA, OCR, Edexcel and Eduqas. At A level I specialise in OCR Philosophy, Ethics and Developments in Christian Thought. I have prepared students for entrance exams for schools including Eton, Harrow and Westminster.

I have been consistently rated an `Outstanding` classroom teacher by Ofsted and have attained the prestigious Advanced Skills Teacher status.

I have previously worked as an examiner and assessor for the main examination boards.

I quickly inspire in students the desire to achieve their full potential in Religious Studies examinations. I have excellent subject knowledge, plan tuition sessions thoroughly and cater for different levels of ability and learning styles. I provide students with a clear sense of their achievements and targets and ensure parents/carers are kept fully informed about student progress.
