Theology: it depends on whether the objective is an exam or not. If it is, and there are Old Testament, New Testament and then Church History and Theology development papers I proceed chronologically because it's important to follow the development of doctrine.

Theology: it depends on whether the objective is an exam or not. If it is, and there are Old Testament, New Testament and then Church History and Theology development papers I proceed chronologically because it's important to follow the development of doctrine.

Latin: I use a combination of the time-honoured grammar book, Kennedy plus the Cambridge Classics Project, with occasional examination of actual texts.

History: as with theology it depends on whether there is an exam to prepare for. History can only be successfully taught chronologically, and with as much reference as possible to original sources.
