Grade 9 Maths Student Offering Engaging Primary Lessons In-Person in Feltham

I am a motivated and approachable sixth-form student at Langley Grammar School, studying Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry and Economics. I achieved a Grade 9 in Mathematics, alongside strong results across my other GCSEs, including Grade 8 in Business. I genuinely enjoy helping younger students understand difficult concepts and become more confident in their abilities. I have gained valuable experience through my role as a Literacy Helper, where I worked with primary-aged children, helping them with reading, difficult words and adapting my explanations to suit their individual needs. I have also supported younger students as an Anti-Bullying Ambassador and volunteered at Junior parkrun, developing my patience, communication and ability to build positive relationships with children. Additionally, I have helped Year 10 students with Mathematics under my teacher’s guidance. I believe effective tutoring is about more than simply explaining the correct answer. It is about understanding how a student learns, finding an explanation that works for them and encouraging them when they find something challenging. I am patient, friendly and adaptable, and I aim to make learning engaging while ensuring students make genuine progress. I would love to use my academic knowledge and experience to help students grow in both their ability and confidence.
