I am a grade 9 GCSE student in both English Literature and English Language. My lessons are aimed for anyone from Year 9-11.

I will begin by assessing the students current level and identifying their strengths and weaknesses, through past papers or writing tasks. I will then create a personalised lesson plan that focuses on exam skills and key GCSE content needed to secure a Grade 9. In each lesson I will start with a brief recap from last lesson to ensure the learning is consolidated. I will use interactive activities throughout the lesson such as analysing extracts and practising exam questions and paper walkthroughs. I will encourage critical and analytical thinking - key skills needed in GCSE English.
