I'm a passionate and enthusiastic English Literature and Creative Writing tutor with a PhD in Literature from Oxford. I teach students at Foundation Certificate, BA, and MA level

I offer private tuition for those requiring extra help and support in their literature or creative writing degree courses. Or for those adults who simply want to develop their writing and close reading skills in a safe and encouraging space.

At Foundation Certificate, BA, and MA level, I can help with essay writing and close reading. I specialise in 19th/20th/21st Century literature and poetry, particularly Modernism and Women's Writing. I also enjoy teaching 18th Century literature, Romanticism, Victorian, and Gothic literature.

I run each class as a tutorial on Zoom, where we discuss a piece of writing or an essay plan in detail. I encourage lively debate and exploration of new ideas!
