I give one to one or group lessons in music and music theory, as well as instrumental teaching - guitar, piano, voice.

I use Google docs for notes, Google drive to upload recordings and spreadsheets for various progress notes. I would first write down a pupil's specific strengths, focusing on how they can progress in these. I would then ask about their weaknesses, giving them the opportunity to articulate what they are struggling with and where they need more help. I start my lessons with 2-3 minutes of listening and reviewing music so that the pupil/s feel/s settled and that they are in a trusted space. I would then focus on the main arc of the lesson and use the pomodoro technique to ensure tasks are manageable.
