I give lessons based on each tutees strengths and weaknesses. I can teach anywhere from SATs to A-level Maths

I believe I would be a strong maths tutor because I have a very strong academic background in mathematics, combined with practical tutoring experience. I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and A* grades in both A-level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, giving me a thorough understanding of the subject and the ability to work confidently with challenging mathematical concepts. I currently tutor both a GCSE student and an A-level student, which has helped me develop my ability to explain mathematical ideas clearly and adapt my teaching style to suit different students and their individual needs. I have also previously tutored two GCSE students who both went on to achieve Grade 9s in Maths, as well as an A-level student who achieved an A*. These results demonstrate not only my subject knowledge, but also my ability to help students make significant progress and achieve their academic goals. I am patient, approachable and committed to helping students build both their mathematical ability and confidence. I understand that students can struggle with different areas of maths, so I aim to identify gaps in their understanding, explain concepts in a clear and accessible way, and provide plenty of practice to reinforce their learning. I would bring my strong academic record, tutoring experience and genuine enthusiasm for mathematics to every lesson.
