As an experienced English language tutor, I specialise in building students’ confidence in speaking, writing, and exam skills through clear explanation, targeted practice, and calm, supportive feedback. I use a structured but flexible approach: first identifying a student’s goals and weaknesses, then designing focused lessons that challenge them just beyond their comfort zone. Each lesson combines short explanations, model examples, and plenty of guided practice, so students are always active rather than just listening. I regularly check understanding with questions, encourage students to “think aloud” as they work, and give precise feedback they can apply immediately to improve.
