GCSE Maths and Science Tutor, giving in-depth and effective lessons to students

I take a structured, exam-focused approach to tutoring, tailoring lessons to each student’s needs. I recently completed my GCSEs, achieving Grade 9s in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Computer Science, Design & Technology, Spanish, English Literature and English Language. I am studying at a leading private school, Highgate School in North London

I really enjoy helping other students with subjects that I enjoy, and I’ve regularly helped friends and classmates with their revision throughout school. I’ve also helped students from around Year 7–9 with Maths and Science, explaining difficult topics and working through questions with them.

In my GCSEs, I achieved 98.3% in Mathematics, 89.2% in Extended Maths Certificate (L2), 95.6% in Biology, 94.4% in Chemistry and 93.9% in Physics. I understand how important exam technique, past-paper practice and knowing exactly what an exam board is looking for can be.

I begin by identifying areas the student finds difficult, then work through these systematically using explanations, exam questions and practice. I aim to make lessons clear and approachable while helping students become more confident and independent.
