GCSE Chemistry tutor — clear explanations, confidence and exam practice

Chemistry becomes much easier when the ideas behind it make sense. I’m a university senior lecturer in Materials Science with 11 years’ experience, and I enjoy helping learners understand challenging topics, build confidence and prepare effectively for exams.

Lessons are tailored to each student. We can work through difficult concepts step by step, identify areas to improve and practise GCSE exam questions. I can support **all GCSE exam boards**, and teach in **English or Farsi/Persian**. I welcome children, teenagers and adult learners.

I hold a PhD and DIC in Materials from Imperial College London, as well as an MSc in Molecular Science of Materials from the University of Greenwich and an HND in Materials Science from the University of Sunderland. I have also supervised numerous MSc and PhD students.

- Online: **£45 per hour**
- In person: **£55 per hour** in Morden, Coulsdon, Banstead, Woodmansterne, Wallington, Sutton and Carshalton
- Your first online introductory session is **free for 40 minutes**
- After that, lessons are booked in **prepaid blocks of five**
