Building is how I teach, recognising how each student responds uniquely to methods and customising teaching techniques based on what they know and how they learn. As a teacher that has taught both students with learning difficulties or with no basic English language skills, I have developed myself to understand that first, they need to understand before moving on to the next chapter. I hope through my teaching they have confidence and energy to keep learning and growing. I like to see my curriculum or teaching method as building blocks, seeing how many blocks a child already has before moving on to the next stage of building.
