Affordable Maths Tuition up to A-level from friendly, outgoing Maths student at the University of Oxford

Hi! I'm an student at the University of Oxford, originally based in London, offering affordable maths tutoring, either in-person or online, up to A-level, including in preparation for 10+, 11+, and 13+ examinations.

My aim is to dispel some of mystification caused by school-teaching of maths, where often methods are taught blindly to solve a problem, without giving any thought as to why they work.
I hope to instill an intuitive understanding of why the maths actually works - in the long term this is actually easier than memorizing methods to solve a problem!
Being able to think intuitively about challenging problems (rather than reciting a memorized method) is a key skill that will be valuable throughout secondary school and beyond, no matter the subject!

I will tailor sessions to the individual, whether that be targeting weaker topics or extending knowledge beyond the specification.

Particularly for GCSE and A-level students - I am happy to cover topics on the specification of any major exam board!
