Friendly GCSE Tutor Offering Clear Explanations, Exam Practice, and Confidence-Building Lessons

I teach GCSE Maths in a clear, supportive, and practical way, focusing on helping students actually understand the content rather than just memorising methods. I’m currently working towards a Maths and Data Science degree, so I have a strong foundation in maths and enjoy explaining ideas in a way that makes sense. My lessons are always tailored to the student. We usually start by going over what they’re finding difficult at school, then break the topic down step by step. I use examples and exam-style questions so students can practise applying what they’ve learned, and I talk through answers to show where marks come from. I encourage questions throughout and keep lessons relaxed, so students don’t feel nervous about getting things wrong. I’ve tutored GCSE students before and understand how stressful maths exams can be. Alongside teaching the content, I also help students improve exam technique, confidence, and revision skills. My aim is for students to leave each lesson feeling clearer, more confident, and better prepared for their exams.
