Friendly and Experienced Imperial College London Biochemistry Graduate Chemistry Tutor

Hi, I'm Raya! I’m a recent BSc Biochemistry graduate from Imperial College London. I completed my A Levels in 2021 in Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics, achieving A*AA respectively. In terms of GCSEs, I sat my Biology GCSE early in Year 10, achieving a Grade 9. I also achieved Grade 9s in Chemistry and Geography, and Grade 8s in Physics and Psychology. Overall, I achieved-:).

I have now been formally tutoring for over a year and have experience teaching students across a range of exam boards, including Edexcel, AQA and OCR. During this time, I have supported students at both GCSE and A Level, helping them improve not only their subject knowledge, but also their confidence and exam technique. I understand and always emphasise the importance of exam practice and, due to my own academic experience, I am very confident when it comes to teaching effective revision strategies and general exam technique too.

When I teach, I always try my best to give wider context and real examples to help boost understanding where needed. Most of all, I genuinely enjoy Biology and Chemistry, so I am always delighted to share and apply my knowledge when teaching others!
