Hi, Bonjour!

My name is Anne-Camille but you may call me Anne.
I am a native French speaker from Mauritius with two years of university studies in France.
I have a Bachelor's in Communication from the Institut Universitaire de Technologie (IUT) - Université Paul Sabatier of Toulouse, France and I am now completing my Masters degree in International Relations from the University of Westminster.
Growing up bilingual in French and English, and having taught myself German and Greek through immersive media (TV shows, news, Youtube Videos...), I understand how languages come alive when you move beyond textbooks and into real-world applications.

What you should know about my teaching philosophy (in bullet points):
- Grammar, verb conjugations, and sentence structures are essential foundations - BUT they're only truly useful when you can apply them in actual conversations and situations.
- My classes balance theoretical learning with practical, real-world scenarios.
- YES, you will gain both knowledge and confidence!

What to expect?
For beginners:
- we will build your foundation with grammar and vocabulary, AND pronunciation
- practice with realistic scenarios: introducing yourself, asking for directions, daily conversations.
- It's about learning the rules and applying them.

Intermediate/ Improvers:
- review grammar and expand vocabulary
- sustained conversations about real life situations - handling problems, making appointments, discussing your day, navigation travel scenarios
- the goal: hold a natural conversation for minimum 10 minutes

Advanced learners:
- we will work on sophisticated language skills: persuasive writing and speaking, speech writing, analysing complex French texts and speeches, debating current topics and defending arguments
- The goal: express yourself on a current topic with me for 30 minutes
