Since September 2023, I have been working as a private tutor, teaching English, Italian, French, and Spanish to students of all ages. I specialise in general language acquisition as well as targeted exam preparation, including GCSEs, A-Levels, SELT, and IELTS. Furthermore, my background working as a multilingual tour guide in London has equipped me with strong communication skills and the ability to keep learners of all backgrounds engaged and motivated. My teaching methodology is highly adaptable and aligns directly with each student's needs and objectives. After an initial assessment to set clear goals, I design lessons that balance grammar, listening, reading, and conversation to meet those needs. For virtual lessons, I rely on interactive digital tools to maintain engagement. I create custom PowerPoint presentations to explain vocabulary and grammar, and I use shared Google Docs for practical exercises, enabling me to monitor the student's thought process in real-time and provide immediate, constructive feedback. During face-to-face classes, I use printed materials to clearly explain grammar rules. Students then apply what they have learned through targeted worksheet exercises. I also include dedicated listening and conversation practice to help students build spoken fluency and confidence.
