I am a qualified teacher with nearly five years of experience teaching across both primary and secondary schools, alongside a First-Class degree in English and an English PGCE.
I have experience teaching students with a wide range of abilities and learning needs, and I tailor my sessions to suit each individual student.
I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as they learn.
I use clear explanations, questioning, discussion and carefully structured activities to develop understanding and build confidence.
For exam students, I can focus on exam technique, essay structure, analytical skills and effective revision strategies. For younger students, I place greater emphasis on developing strong foundations, encouraging curiosity and making learning enjoyable.
I regularly assess students' understanding throughout sessions and adapt my approach accordingly, ensuring that those I am working with achieve their goals.
