I am a First-Class awarded BSc Psychology graduate with 6 years’ experience in psychology, 5 years in sociology, and 3 years in business across GCSE, A-level, university study, and tutoring. I have supported children and young people in educational and wellbeing settings, including nursery, teaching assistance working with Special Educational Needs (SEN), alongside my ongoing work as a mental health and crisis support listener. These experiences have strengthened my ability to understand diverse learning needs, build trust, and create supportive environments where students feel confident to engage. I use a patient, adaptable teaching style, tailoring lessons to individual strengths and goals. I specialise in psychology & sociology; subjects I enjoy teaching because they bring learning to life. As well as Business at each level, simplifying complex topics into clear steps to build confidence, understanding, and critical thinking. Exam help sessions available throughout exam season! I identify key areas for improvement in advance; extended essay questions, exam technique, revision strategies, or strengthening critical analysis so sessions are targeted and effective. I specialise in breaking down longer exam questions into clear, manageable steps, teaching students how to plan, structure, and develop high-quality answers. I am particularly strong at making complex concepts clear and teaching key terminology so students fully understand and can apply it accurately in exams. I use a range of materials including PowerPoints, exam papers, model answers, quizzes, and guided practice to build confidence and exam readiness. Lessons are interactive and focused on active learning, helping students apply knowledge, think critically, and write with clarity under timed conditions. I also provide additional resources for independent study between sessions. Progress is tracked through regular feedback, mini-tests, and improvements in written work. My aim is to build confidence, sharpen exam technique, and help students achieve their best results.
