Having been a secondary teacher for 15 years, I know how to deliver engaging sessions that spark passion for literary texts, but I also understand the pressures and requirements of exams. As a funded PhD researcher with a degree in English from Cambridge and an MA in Victorian Studies from Birkbeck UoL who has lectured in creative writing, I am a subject expert who understands the university system. As a working poet, I know first hand how texts are constructed and am enthusiastic in sharing my expertise and passion with my students.
Whether you’re looking for guided revision sessions in the lead up to exams, to catch up on material you aren’t sure about, more long-term support with your English skills, or creative writing feedback, I offer online sessions on weekday evenings and would love to hear from you.
