Advert description
I'm a Mathematics student at University College London (UCL) studying Mathematics with Mathematical Physics, where I achieved a First Class average in my first year. I have several years of tutoring experience, including working as a Senior Maths Tutor at Kumon, privately tutoring GCSE and A-Level Mathematics students both online and in person, and coaching students for UKMT challenges, the British Mathematical Olympiad (BMO), and STEP university admissions exams.
My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether that's improving confidence, catching up with schoolwork, achieving top GCSE or A-Level grades, preparing for university entrance exams, or developing advanced problem-solving skills. I begin by identifying each student's strengths and areas for improvement, then create a personalised learning plan to help them progress efficiently.
Rather than simply showing solutions, I focus on building a deep understanding of the underlying mathematics so students can confidently tackle unfamiliar problems on their own. I explain concepts clearly, work through examples step by step, and provide plenty of challenging practice questions with detailed feedback. My lessons are interactive, engaging, and adapted to each student's pace, ensuring they leave every session with greater confidence and a stronger understanding of the material.
Whether you're aiming to pass an exam, achieve an A*, prepare for Oxbridge or other competitive university admissions, or excel in maths competitions, I'll help you reach your goals with structured, supportive, and results-focused tuition.
