Personalised 11+ Tutoring - Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning

I am a dedicated tutor and experienced research scientist with a first-class Chemistry degree from the University of Oxford. With a strong academic background and passion for teaching, I specialise in 11+ preparation (Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning), helping students to build confidence, master key concepts, and succeed in their studies.

I have over 700 hours experience working with children and young people in educational and outreach settings. I’ve supported students in primary and secondary schools, run after-school activities, delivered hands-on science workshops, and mentored students in academic development programmes.

Having gone through the 11+ process myself, I understand the challenges and rewards it presents - I gained entry to competitive grammar and independent schools and was awarded a full academic scholarship to a leading London private school. I can empathise with the pressures students may feel and aim to help them feel confident and ready for this important next step in their educational journey. With a clear understanding of the importance of safeguarding, including a certification for Safeguarding in Schools, your child’s education is in safe hands.

I tailor each session to the individual student, building on their strengths while supporting areas of difficulty. I believe learning should be enjoyable, engaging, and rooted in curiosity - especially when preparing for key exams like the 11+, where confidence is just as important as knowledge.
