Qualified Maths Teacher & Head of Maths, GCSE Examiner, Year 6 SATS, 11+ entry & SEN specialist

With over 13 years of teaching experience as a qualified maths teacher and currently, Director of Maths and Science, I bring a deep understanding of the subject and the ability to cater to a variety of learning styles. Alongside teaching, I am examiner for official GCSE Maths and GCSE Further Maths papers, which allows me to provide targeted, high-quality tutoring that not only builds confidence but also drives exam success.

My approach is to tailor each lesson to the student’s specific needs, addressing any areas of difficulty while reinforcing their strengths. I will focus on building a strong foundational understanding, using clear explanations and practical examples that make complex concepts easier to grasp. Each lesson will be structured to ensure progress, but also flexible enough to allow for in-depth exploration of challenging topics.

I am proficient at delivering Year 6 SATs preparation, 11Plus entry exam content including verbal reasoning, non verbal reasoning and maths, years 7 - 11 maths in compliance with Edexcel, AQA, IGCSE, OCR and WJEC board.
