Hello! I'm an MSc Health Psychology student at University College London (UCL) with one year of experience teaching English to underserved children through Kalpavriksha Sustainable Development Society (KSDS), a non-profit organisation in India. I teach primary and secondary students, as well as English as a Second Language (ESL) learners.
My lessons are tailored to each student's age, level, and learning goals. I begin by understanding your strengths and areas for improvement, then create a personalised learning plan. Lessons combine grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, listening, and pronunciation using interactive activities, conversations, games, and real-life examples to make learning enjoyable and practical.
For younger learners, I use engaging exercises and visual resources to build confidence and maintain interest. For older students, I focus on improving communication, comprehension, writing skills, and exam preparation where needed. I provide regular feedback, practice exercises, and encouragement so students can monitor their progress and build confidence step by step.
My background in psychology helps me understand different learning styles and create a patient, supportive, and motivating environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My goal is not only to improve your English but also to help you become a confident and independent learner. I look forward to supporting you on your learning journey!
