Experienced English Literature, Language and IELTS teacher

I have over 20 years experience of teaching English. I have taught in UK secondary schools and taught internationally. I teach KS3,4 and 5. I specialise in GCSE and A level Literature and language. I have taught students at many different levels and with different abilities.
I tutor individual students and enjoy working with both adults and young people. I am also an experienced IELTS teacher and can teach Business English.

My lessons are interesting and varied. I tailor them according to the needs of my students using of course written texts; supplemented by images, videos, music and games.
Critical thinking is a very important aspect of my lessons and I encourage independent thinking and the sharing of ideas.
