Experienced, Engaging & Highly Qualified Mathematics Tutor; All ages - GCSE, A-Level, 11+; Online or In-Person

I try to make my lessons engaging and stimulating, framing mathematics within its context to develop a thorough understanding that allows students to problem solve even when faced with unfamiliar examples.

I am based in London and have successfully tutored students from Year 6 SATs/11+ exams up to A-Level Further Mathematics to achieve top grades. I am a First-Class Maths graduate with a MSc in Data Science (Applied Maths) both from the University of Bristol. At school I achieved a Grade 9 at GCSE Maths and A*'s in both Maths & Further Maths A-Levels so I am very familiar with the content and structure of the exams and the learning required to pass them.

I supported regular classes and was the primary teacher of after-school Mathematics club while working as a teaching assistant at Alexandra Park School in North London & while studying I was a part-time Mathematics teacher at Redmaid's Girls School in Bristol, teaching Year 9 and Year 10 classes as well as the UKMT Maths Challenge team and 1-to-1 additional support. I currently work as an analyst in financial trading where I use Mathematics & Data Science to inform trading strategies/decisons.
