Advert description
Hi:) I’m Lera, an experienced Drama Tutor passionate about working with children (6+), teenagers, and adults, helping them build confidence, explore creativity, and develop performance skills. My background includes two years of English and drama tutoring in Ukraine, Ireland, and the UK, as well as training with the National Youth Theatre. I am currently a second-year Acting student at the University of West London, which is my second higher education after completing two years of BA Acting studies in my hometown, Kyiv (Ukraine). age of 19, back in Ukraine, I began teaching English and Drama classes for groups of both children and adults. Through this experience, I developed strong leadership skills and learned how to make lessons structured, yet engaging and fun. Since then, I have realised how much I value not only sharing my passion with children and adults but also exploring communication and collaboration with each student, and seeing the results of their progress. In addition, my international background has given me a broad toolkit of techniques that I combine to create a dynamic and personalised teaching style. In 2022, I moved to Ireland, where I volunteered as a Drama Tutor for children at the Thurles Ukrainian Community Centre. More recently in the UK, I have been working with children aged 3 months to 6 years, visiting nurseries and leading sessions through puppet storytelling, singing, dancing, and interactive games. In August (2025), I completed the Epic Stages course at the National Youth Theatre, where I developed my acting, movement, vocal, and improvisation skills in a professional training environment. Alongside tutoring, I also take part in short films and theatre productions, continuously improving my skills and developing as a professional.
