Advert description
I have 6 years teaching experience in Biochemistry teaching students in the University of Cologne, Germany. I focus on individual students' personal strengths to enable them to learn efficiently and overcome their difficulties. To put my point across, I like to use examples from real life, as well as videos to enable them to conceive scientific concepts and make learning a fun experience. Once positive experiences are created in the subject taught, the students obtain confidence enhancing therefore their learning capacity and excelling!
The content of the lessons depends on the students' needs. I am very flexible and can adjust each time the lesson to their topic preferences so that they get actual help in the concepts and principles that they feel they need to be helped the most. The only requirement is that they tell me in advance what is their difficulty in the subject, what their target is and how fast they wish to reach their target. Then, I curve out an individualized plan for them, explain the concepts at a pace that the student finds acceptable and provide a schedule that actually helps them reach their targets. From lesson to lesson, I monitor their progress, continue resolving their difficulties and regulate the assigned homework to enable steady growth without burn-out. For this to succeed, they need to tell me which books they use in school/ university and show me briefly the content so that I know exactly:
1. how to best explain the area of difficulty
2. what additional exercises they need to do
